Hair care is an important aspect of a person's self-esteem and image. I am pleased to introduce myself to you as you seek a professional stylist to assist you. First, let me tell you a little about my journey.
Early in my childhood years, combing and styling my baby dolls' hair and occasionally my little cousins was always so much fun for me. After completing high school, I went in a different direction and I didn't follow my first love and desire to become a hair stylist. With many other things going on in my life I put it on the back burner, but the desire and interest was always there. From time to time I would go to different schools collecting the information to attend, but knew I didn't have the funds to attend because of other responsibilities. I would occasionally style hair in my kitchen because it was still a burning passion for me.
In 2009, I was laid off from my job and was blessed with the opportunity to go back to school and reinvent myself. I decide to go for it and enroll at Empire Beauty School. With the blessings from the Lord, my education was paid for in full! Although I was the oldest in my class I did not let that discourage me because I knew in my heart I wanted to be a licensed hair stylist and work in a salon. I completed the program successfully and have been a professional stylist for 6 years which I love and enjoy very much.
I am currently working at Salon Nouveau where I am honored to be a part of such an awesome team of gifted and talented stylists which makes me look forward to going to work. As a stylist I enjoy meeting and interacting with people, but most of all using my God-given talent and ability to help enhance the beauty of my clients. I specialize in many areas of hair care, but most of all I promote healthy hair care.
